The importance of life on a farm

The deterioration of the environment and pollution are the price of progress

A common saying from those who do not know alternatives that permit the exploration of our natural resources in a sustainable form, with the knowledge that it is possible for nature to exist in an integrated way and that the alteration of one element can provoke serious consequences for the whole.

The role of Environmental Education is just this, to promote the understanding of our environment so that people feel that they are part of it and also responsible for it.

When living on a farm, it needs to be understood that although modified by man, our environment is still controlled by the laws of nature and the simple act of killing an animal can have serious consequences in the food chain as well as in the natural dissemination of plants.

"Man, plants and animals integrate with the environment through a complex system of interrelationships which, with time, tend, progressively, to affect the whole planet, passing beyond geographical boundaries. Only a knowledge of these interrelationships and respect for the principals of ecology can lead the people on both a national and international level, to a desirable balance with the environment, permitting well being and survival of life in the biosphere".
