More than a century old this farm has produced coffee, grains, tomatoes, lemons and oranges for the manufacture of juice, and has belonged to various owners including the Westin, Vasconcelos and Gianetti families.

In the 1990’s the farm belonged to the Emir of Qatar, monarch a major petroleum and gas producing country in the Middle East.

In 1992, the Emir carried out a series of modifications including the construction of a large suite for his private use, a building to house his entourage, a games area including a 2 lane bowling alley, an attractively landscaped Praça, and the adaptation of the cowsheds into a joinery works where all the furnishings used in the buildings were produced.

The present owners, given the ample and luxurious environment that had been created, decided to open the property for rural tourism, transforming it into a comfortable farm-hotel, with excellent leisure facilities.
